I know exchange is supposed to be exciting and all but I'm really starting to miss Singapore and life back there. Really time to grow up. >:( Ever since I've been here, I've been cooking every meal whenever I'm in hostel and doing my own laundry. By that I mean hand washing. Sigh. There's laundry services but everything is so expensive and I'm a poor kid/cheapo whatever so I have to wash and do everything myself. First month I thought everything would be okay and travelling will be so exciting but I am so so so so so wrong. This cheapo life is really getting quite annoying. Take train must jump train to save money. end up every time i take train there's just this super uneasy feeling just in case i get caught and kena the fine. buy grocery cheat the supermarket to save money >:(
BUT IT'S JUST DAMN EXPENSIVE LEH.
Half of me just wanna go back to singapore the moment school ends (and I can go for my ocip D: but obviously I cant bear to do so zzz) I was so sad and desperate just now that I went to google map (street view) my house area cause I saw my group mate do it this afternoon SIGH I REALLY MISS SINGAPORE MISS HOME MISS HALL MISS EVERYTHING ):
I think I'm gonna miss everything even more when my hall friends come over to paris and go back home. D: D: D:
ok this is gonna be over. after this screwed up mod that's 10 hours a day and requires me to come up w a 10 page report and presentation in 2 days I WILL BE A HAPPY KID ON EXCHANGE AGAIN :D |

Back from the 10 days trip, close to 1000SGD gone just like that. Honestly, Netherlands did not strike me as hard as Belgium, Brussels especially. Probably because Brussels was the first European country that I explored. Even so, Maastricht Rotterdam and Amsterdam are just not my cup of tea. Especially Amsterdam actually. Went on a short tour around the red light district, and it was only interesting in the beginning. Maybe everything there was just tooooo touristy I think I'm getting use to the architecture and everything here in Europe already. But honestly, WHERE IS THE PRETTY PARIS ON EVERY OTHER PHOTO -.- Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone. |

One of those days when things from my memories keep running through my mind. Probably after I climbed the hill and looked at Maastricht from atop. Different feeling altogether.
Tried stitching/panorama on an iPhone app. Not very clear though :/

Work has been honestly, quite mundane today. Seems totally like what I did before my uni started. And PwC is just wasting resources. All of us interns, 43 of us under general assurance, sat there and did nothing for the entire morning doing nothing because no one allocated us anything. I went to search for my job and realised I only have a job in January. Which simply means I am going to sit in the office for the entire dec doing nothing. D: So I sent out emails requesting for more jobs because it sucks to stay in the office doing NOTHING. Time just won't pass that way. I don't know if I did the right thing by emailing because I ended up having to do OT ._. But whatever because thats one week down, seven more to go Hopefully Monday will be better and more interesting :) looking at financial statements for the entire day is just .________. Plain boring. This exam period is toooooo long. absolutely way too long. Then again, considering that the banking people have exams from the 18 Nov to 2 Dec, I feel slightly better. That's 2 whole weeks and that's sick.
Exams aside, I'm going for dim sum buffet tomorrow morning! :D Finish eating and back to school to studyyyy ): |
